Staffing in the Classroom

There are three teachers in each classroom, at least one of whom is certified by New York State. Most head teachers have Masters’ Degrees in Early Childhood Education; many other head teachers and assistants are enrolled in Master’s Programs.

Some classrooms have two co-head teachers and one assistant.  Other classrooms have one head teacher and two assistants.  Currently, two assistants to all classes are available to substitute for absent teachers or to help when necessary.
