Due to the high volume of application requests and limited meeting times, we are unable to accommodate every family that expresses interest in Episcopal. Applications will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Should we be able to offer you an application, you will receive an email with a link to create an account and complete the application online. Once your application has been submitted, we will provide instructions on how to arrange a tour and a meeting with the Director of Admissions.
There is an application fee of $60.00, which can be made online with a credit card. If you indicate an intent to apply for financial aid on the inquiry form, you will receive a code via email to waive the application fee.
Tuition for all groups for the 2022-23 school year is $23,500. For more information about financial assistance, please contact admissions@episcopalschool.org.
Yes. The Episcopal School is a member of the School and Student Service (SSS), an organization that provides financial aid analysis for independent schools. Families have the option to indicate an interest in financial aid on the application form.
If we are able to offer your child a spot for the following school year, your financial aid package will be included with your letter of acceptance and enrollment agreement.
Available spots for new students vary every year, depending upon the number of siblings entering into a particular group. The School maintains a strong student-to-teacher ratio, and strives for an even female-to-male student ratio.
The Episcopal School's admissions process is highly individualized. A one-on-one tour and meeting with the Director of Admissions is scheduled for the parents. The individual child's visit is a play session with the Director of Admissions, at which time, the parents and the Director are present.
Decisions for the 2023-2024 school year will be sent via email on Thursday, March 2, and parents are required to respond by Thursday, March 9. Deadlines are decided by the Independent Schools Admissions Association of Greater New York.
