Overview

Our program serves children ages 2 years and 5 months through 5 years old. Classes are held from mid-September through early June, Monday through Friday. Children meet daily for three-hour sessions, either in the morning or afternoon. The morning session runs from 8:30 to 11:30, and the afternoon runs from 12:30 to 3:30.

Our program provides opportunities for each child to grow and learn through a variety of structured activities and free play experiences. Our age-appropriate curriculum allows children to explore ideas and develop skills through art, music, dramatic play, creative movement and cooking. Field trips, interactive science experiences and readiness activities in reading and math further enhance the program.

Experiences and activities are individualized to meet the needs of each child at his or her own stage of development. The Episcopal School believes that its ultimate purpose is to give young children the finest preparation for life by fostering self-confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
