Mission Statement

Mission Statement

The mission of The Episcopal School is to provide a traditional early childhood education in a warm and welcoming environment, and to offer each child a strong foundation for ongoing education and for life.

We seek to help each child develop socially, emotionally, intellectually and physically in a structured and nurturing program. We encourage our students to be curious, responsible and independent, and to enjoy learning. We strive to maintain a healthy balance between a noncompetitive, supportive environment and a challenging experience through which children develop core values and a positive image of themselves and of school.

Statement of Inclusivity

At Episcopal, we are committed to fostering an inclusive environment, in which our entire community works to understand and celebrate one another’s differences and unique experiences. Our goal is to set the foundation for a deeper appreciation of the world, nurturing kindness, respect and acceptance.  We encourage children to honor their individual identities, and empower them to understand, support and value all community members.

Non-Discrimination Policy

The Episcopal School admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the School. Episcopal does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, financial aid or other school-administered programs.
