We are delighted that you are interested in applying to The Episcopal School. During this challenging time of social distancing, our faculty and staff have remained committed to providing our children with a nurturing, engaging, and supportive learning environment. Though our building may be closed to visitors, we hope to share with you what it means to be a part of the Episcopal community. To ensure the safety of our faculty and staff, as well as our current families and students, this year’s admissions process will be conducted virtually.
To request an application for the 2021—2022 school year, please visit our website beginning Wednesday, September 9th at 8:30 a.m. and complete the inquiry form. Once the inquiry form is received, applications will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Should we be able to offer your family an application, you will receive a link to create an account and submit the application online.
Upon receipt of your application, families will receive access to our Prospective Parents Page, which will feature a video of Episcopal’s building, interviews with our faculty and staff, and more information about our program. We will schedule two virtual sessions with your family. In the fall, in lieu of the traditional parent tour, each family will have a one-on-one meeting with the admissions team over a virtual platform. In the winter, each family will have the opportunity for a follow-up meeting to answer any remaining questions; our team will also use this space as a time to briefly meet your child.
The Episcopal School is a member of the School and Student Service (SSS), an organization that provides financial aid analysis for independent schools. In order for the School to determine a family’s need for financial aid, a Parents’ Financial Statement (PFS) must be submitted to SSS. Please visit https://sssbynais.org/parents for more information on how to submit a PFS.
