Family Fun Day

Each spring, Episcopal families, alumni, and community members join together outside of the school to celebrate Family Day. Carnival games, craft tables, and bouncy houses line the street to provide fun for every attendee.

Children enjoy riding the carousel, making sand art, and dancing along to music including familiar chapel songs. Others may try games like bean bag toss, mini hoop, or quack attack.

Alumni of all ages and parent volunteers lead each attraction. Faculty and staff walk around and share joyful moments with current families and reunite excitedly with former students.

This year, Family Day honored Episcopal’s 65th Anniversary. To commemorate this history, guests were able to browse photo archives from every decade of the school’s past. Familiar faces could be found in every era of the School. From black-and-white, to modern day, each decade encompasses the warmth and community that defines Episcopal. In the archives tent, children spun a rainbow wheel to answer different Episcopal trivia questions. During the festivities, children created custom birthday hats, enjoyed homemade birthday cookies, and came together to sing a round of happy birthday led by the specials’ teachers.

Family Day is a beloved tradition that brings together the larger Episcopal community for a day of togetherness and long-lasting memories.
